I travelled to Thailand in 2010, and visited several areas throughout the country. By far and away, the most stunning area was the Krabi Provence in Southern Thailand. Boasting a truly magnificent coastline, warm seas, and endless tropical islands. All in all, some perfect locations for some landscape photography.
The photos in the series below were taken at various locations in the Krabi Province; Railway West, Phra Nang, Tup Island and Phi Phi islands. For these shots I used a Canon 50D DSLR paired with a Canon 17-40mm f/4L wide-angle lens
.
All shots were hand-held, not an ideal situation, particularly for the lower-light/sunset shots, but I’d rather use a higher ISO than carry a tripod around Thailand…
All shots were processed in Adobe Camera Raw and Color Efex Pro. You can see more from this trip via the relevant set on Flickr.
