Following on from the major design change earlier this year, Flickr is now introducing a new photo page design. I’m not sure all users have it yet, I do, and it’s (mostly) good news.
The actual photo now takes up more screen real estate, with all the relating data in the right-hand side bar. It take a little getting used to, but I quite like it.
The shot title and description are at the top, with favourites and comments underneath, newest comments are now listed first, which is a welcome change. Then below that is the EXIF data of the shot, and the groups that the image may have been added to.
There are a couple of problems I can see, firstly, I’ve had trouble adding images to groups, and secondly, unless I’m missing something, there is no option to replace the image, as there was previously.
Hopefully these minor gripes will be addressed by Flickr in the near future. You can get more info on all this via the Flickr Blog.Back to Top
