Adobe have just announced the launch of Lightroom 5.7. This update brings a number of new features and improvements including a built-in import tool for users wanting to migrate their content from Aperture and iPhoto.
Just last month Adobe released a dedicated plugin that offered similar functionality, so it’s a big improvement to now have this inside the main Lightroom package. There are also a range and bug fixes included in the update.
Alongside Lightroom, Adobe Camera Raw has also been updated to support a range of new cameras including the Canon 7D MkII, Samsung NX1 and the Fuji X100T.
Lightroom 5.7 is a free update for existing customers, find out more via the Adobe blog.
